Today I finished writing my shot list and started putting the video together. I am hoping that my film is finished by the end of this week so that I can add my audio and special effects. There is less than two weeks until the film is due and I have a lot more to do but I am happy that I do not need to film anymore shots!

In today's lesson we spoke about what we need to do for our assignment e.g. our audio and soundtrack. This helped me a and gave me some ideas for how i can do my soundtrack and voice overs, we only have 2 weeks left until the assignment is due but hopefully this is enough time to perfect my film noir. This afternoon Mikayla, Serena & I filmed our final scenes, I think we have finished now. We just needed to film some different angles of shots we already had to make the scenes more interesting and engaging.

After Rough Edit

After we showed the rough edit we decided that we have about another 30 shots that we need to film to be able to start making a soundtrack and editing etc. Hopefully we will use next monday and either Wednesday to film those shots and then the following week to finish our editing and then that week the final film is due as well as the reflection.

We have nearly finished filming, Mikayla & Serena will film the final part of the film whilst I am away the rest of the week and then we should be finished! Hopefully by the start of next week we will be finished our film noir film.

My group encountered a few problems as some of the girls haven't been to some of the media lessons and Ellythea is now on exchange so there is only 3 people in my group. We have a few scenes filmed but we probably will not have our 5-7 minute rough cut in by Wednesday so we will just have to give in what we have got as there have been so many absences in the group. On Wednesday and Thursday hopefully we can all film and have our rough edit completed by Friday at the latest.
